#6 Separation from God

There are two big problems that come with “sin”.  The first big problem is a massive one; it separates us from God.  God is holy, and hates sin.  This is a massive problem for us because there’s nothing we can do to cancel out our sin. We can’t pay for our sins by giving away lots of money, or being really nice to people. We can’t pile up enough good deeds to outweigh our sin. We’re just stuck with our separation.  And the guilt connected to this separation leads to emotional and mental problems, to attempts to compensate for guilt, or to deny accountability and adopt criminal thinking, or to just decide since “everyone is doing it, I will too.”  It’s not fun being separated from the God who made us. https://biblehub.com/isaiah/59-2.htm
